Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Andrii Myhal ("we") makes Deck Studio (the "App"), an app that creates presentations, documents and other content with AI. This policy explains what data the App processes, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. Questions: medvedcukkarolina68@gmail.com.
1. No account
You don't sign up. The App creates a random identifier when it is first opened and keeps it in the iPhone's Keychain, so your purchases and credits keep working, also after reinstalling on the same device. The identifier is not linked to your name, e-mail or phone number. You can see it in the App under Profile ("User ID").
2. What we process
| Data | Why | Who receives it | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| App identifier | Purchases, credits, keeping your decks private to your device, abuse limits | Our server; subscription management provider | While you use the App |
| Purchase records from Apple | Unlock the plan, add credits | Subscription management provider; our server (status and credit balance) | As required for accounting |
| What you ask the App to create: your prompt, chosen settings (length, tone, audience, language), edit requests | Create or change the result you asked for | Our server, which passes it to the AI presentation provider | Not stored on our server after the request |
| Text of files and pages you add (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text, scanned pages, web links) | Use them as the source of your deck | The text is read on your iPhone and sent with your request; link addresses are also sent so the AI can read them | Not stored on our server after the request |
| Photos you attach | Put your own photos into the deck | Our server stores a resized copy; the AI presentation provider fetches it | Deleted from our server automatically within 48 hours |
| A short topic for the free plan step | Draft the slide plan you can edit before creating | An AI text model run by our cloud hosting provider | Not stored after the request |
| Your decks | Show, edit and export them | A copy is kept by the AI presentation provider so the deck can be edited and exported; a PDF copy is saved on your iPhone | On your iPhone until you delete the deck or the App; with the provider until you ask us to delete it |
| Technical records: which run or deck belongs to which identifier, daily usage counters | Make sure only you can open, edit or export your decks; prevent abuse | Our server | Runs 30 days, deck ownership up to 400 days, counters 2 days |
| Server logs (time, route, errors) | Keep the service running and fix problems | Our cloud hosting provider | Up to 7 days |
| Crash and error reports, without your content or screenshots | Fix bugs | Crash reporting provider | 90 days |
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and the App contains no advertising or tracking across apps.
3. AI processing
When you tap Create (or send an edit), what you entered and attached — as listed above — is sent to a third-party AI service that writes and designs the result. Only content you chose to include is sent. The App shows what will be used before you create. We don't use your content to train AI models.
4. Photos and faces
Photos you attach may show people's faces. We process them only to place them in the deck you asked for. We do not use them for face recognition or to identify anyone, we don't use them to train AI, and we don't share them for advertising. Before upload the App shrinks the photo and removes its metadata, including location. Our copy is reachable only through a long random link and is deleted within 48 hours. The AI provider keeps the photo as part of your deck for as long as the deck exists; ask us and we will delete the deck. Only add photos of other people with their permission.
5. On your iPhone only
- Text recognition of scanned pages runs on the iPhone.
- Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition; the recognised text goes into the prompt field and is treated like typed text. Apple's privacy policy applies to the recognition itself.
- Your library (titles, PDF copies, covers) is stored in the App's storage on the iPhone.
6. Sharing a deck
If you copy or share a deck's view link, anyone with the link can view (not edit) that deck. Don't share the link if the deck is private.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data.
9. Your rights and deletion
Depending on where you live (for example GDPR in the EU/EEA or CCPA in California), you can ask to access or delete data linked to your identifier, including decks kept by the AI provider. Write to medvedcukkarolina68@gmail.com with the User ID from Profile. We answer within 30 days. Deleting a deck in the App or deleting the App removes everything stored on your iPhone.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
